We are very excited to announce, in partnership with Prairie Creek Stables, the purchase of 2013 Hanoverian Premium Stallion, CONFIDENTO HA. It is not often that North America gets the opportunity to import the Sieger Hengst of a Hanoverian Licensing and we are pleased to have Confidento standing at Sigma Warmbloods in Vilna, Alberta. He is available for breeding to selective mares through live cover, on farm breeding and cooled fresh shipped semen.
Born 2013; brown; 168cm or 16.2hh;
Breeder: Herbert & Ute Steuber in Garstedt, Germany.
Confidento is a sporty, brown Stallion with good size and substance, proportions, good gaits as well as type and appeal.
At the Hanoverian licensing he displayed exceptional free jumping and convinced the judges without a doubt about is abilities. The long list of performance horses from his bloodlines underscore that confidence.
Confidento’s Sire Contendro I needs no introduction. He is the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 World #1 Eventing Sire and World #25 Jumping Sire. He is also the only sire in the world in the top 20 of the CSO and Eventing rankings, with also some international winners in Dressage.
Contendro I’s sire, the legendary Contender, is one of the world’s leading jumping sires. His notable offspring include the likes of Montender (Marco Kucher), individual European gold medalist 2005; Checkmate (Meredith Michaels Beerbaum), team gold WEG Kentucky 2010; and Carlo (Nick Skelton), individual European bronze medalist 2010. He can also be found in the pedigrees of the top stallions Chellano Z and Balou du Rouet.
Contendro’s first dam, Bravo, is also the dam of the licensed stallions, Caretano Z (by Caretino), 1997 Reserve Bundeschampion, 1999 World Champion of 7-year old show jumpers, and a World Cup Finalist in Gothenburg, Sweden, and of Contendro I’s full brothers Contendro II and Cassito (by Cassiano). She also gave birth to Contendro’s full sister, BB Caretana, ridden by Niklaus Schurtenberger of Switzerland, a highly successful international show jumping mare.
Confidento’s full brother "Conbassy" (Stable: Paul Schockemöhle) was the jumping winner and licensing winner in 2014 in Redefin.
His Mother, Estelle St.Pr. v. Embassy I delivered a good performance test with a score of 9.25 in Jumping. She was the champion mare of Herwart von der Decken-Schau 2007 and foaled many successful horses, for example, Steuberhof's Golden Top and the young mare Golden Snow (HvdDS 2014 1c präm.), both Sired by Graf Top.
Confidento’s grandmother Day Dream v. Don Juan also foaled many successful horses, for example –
Steuberhof’s Everybody’s Darling v. Embassy I (International S Jumping Tournaments),
Steuberhof’s Excellent Choice v. Embassy I (M Jumping Tournaments).
Steuberhof's Excellent Jump v. Embassy I (M Jumping Tournaments)
Landor v. Landor S (M Jumping Tournaments)
Safari v. Sandro (S Jumping Tournaments).
From the Dam line of the “Leuthen,” numerous highly successful jumping horses emerged, among others von Abke, Landgold, Contender, Night and Day, Landfriese, Coupe de Coeur, Laptop, Jack of Spades II, Rebel Z, Escudo, King of Spades, Robin L and For Pleasure, but also Dressage horses like the licensed stallions Donnerschall v.
